Last week, our CEO, Shane Johnson, joined more than 100 business executives at the 2024 Evening of Excellence Awards Gala in Seattle to celebrate the state of Washington’s leading manufacturers and employers. At the Association of Washington Business-organized event, Shane was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year award on behalf of CarbonQuest.
The Entrepreneur of the Year award recognizes a local business less than five years old that is making a significant impact in its industry. CarbonQuest received recognition for its leadership in advancing Washington’s clean energy economy and enabling immediate emissions reductions for small- and medium-scale emitters. We remain committed to expanding our collaboration with local government and business leaders to scale distributed carbon capture technology across the state.
This award concludes a transformative year for CarbonQuest, coming on the heels of our Series A funding and several key commercial partnerships. We’re excited to build on this momentum in 2025, and look forward to sharing major developments in the coming months.
