For this position, we’re excited to find an exceptional, experienced professional–or a passionate candidate early in their career–to join our Product Management (PM) team to evolve our distributed Carbon Capture System (CCS). As the CCS Product Manager, you will play a critical cross-functional role in shaping our CCS products to achieve product-market-fit, exceed expectations and help scale. The CCS PM will work closely with the Commercialization, Engineering, Customer Operations and R&D teams to manage the roadmap, support operations and help develop market opportunities.

Ideally, the position will be based near our engineering team at the corporate headquarters in Spokane, WA, or near our commercialization team in NYC–with travel between the two–as well as prospects, customers and projects as needed.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Support the Commercialization team by participating in product/segment fit, competitive positioning, cost/benefit, risk/reward and pricing. Participate in customer meetings, developing technical marketing collateral, data sheets, case studies, presentations, Sales Engineer training and pre-sales tools.
- Collaborate with Commercialization to clarify, document and maintain product/market requirements for go-to-market carbon capture market segments.
- Collaborate with CCS Engineering to apply product/market requirements to create and maintain comprehensive product specifications and roadmaps.
- Collaborate with CCS Engineering to support Customer Operations via product, deployment and operational training material.
- Overall, grow into CCS product owner and subject matter expert to support the full product lifecycle across all teams, contributing to product strategy and alignment, being the voice of the customer inside the company and product champion outside the company
Qualifications / Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant technical and/or operational experience
- A basic understanding of combustion, electrochemistry and thermal plant operations preferred
- Hands on technical and/or operational experience with related technology; ideally cleantech, carbon capture and/or target market (fuel cells, CHP, industrial boilers)
- Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent
- 2-10+ year of experience as a Product Manager with relevant industry and startup experience, preferred:
- Track record in delivering products to markets in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to quickly understand and learn product and solution functionalities, and limitations, and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
